I Love Fall

Fall is my favorite season by far. I love the colors, the weather, the holidays, everything. So now I'm trying to find a photo of a perfect fall scene. I like this one a lot.

Paige is walking!

She started a couple weeks ago, but I finally got footage of it today.

Thanks for your votes!

I like Number 1 the best, and I think that's what I will go with. I'm trying to decide on a black and white photo for above our fireplace. Thanks for your comments! If you have any of your own favorite photos, let me know!

Which one do you like best?

I love flowers

I think plants and flowers might be my new obsession. I just bought my first real plant yesterday and its just so cute. It really brightens my day! I think I'll buy a bunch of different plants and flowers for our home. They're cheap and add so much to the room!

A day at the lake

Today we went to Liberty Lake, which is about 5 minutes from our house. It was close to 100 degrees, so we were happy to be in the water. Can I just say, I'm not really into hot weather. I know I'm talkin' crazy here, and I'm sure I'm the only one... but I get really grumpy in the summertime when it gets much over 85 degrees. I guess growing up in Western Washington will do that to you. Summer days on that side of the state are usually in the 70's to low 80's. I'm just a wuss when it comes to heat. And cold. And snow. And lots of other stuff.

My hometown...

Gig Harbor, Washington. Isn't it beautiful? Click on it for a closer look. I think you'll agree. I sure miss that place. : (

I love this room.

I kinda wish I had the money to recreate it. Stupid Pottery Barn. They suck me right in and then they're like, "Ha ha! You can't afford any of our stuff!"

The house so far

I still have to hang up all my pictures, drapes, a mirror, etc., but I'm really nervous about that part. If you mess up and poke holes all over the walls, no one is gonna come fix it for you when you move out. Aaahhh! So my fear is causing procrastination.

Cherry picking

This is old news, but when my mom was visiting, we went out to the country and picked cherries. I really enjoyed it. It inspired me to own some fruit trees... at some point. Imagine- all the fruit you can handle! And a smooth-flowing digestive system too. We got Rainier Cherries for really cheap! In case you don't know, they are the best.

We're in!!!

We moved into our house on thursday and I am so excited! We still have a few more boxes to unpack, but it actually feels like a home now. I will post pictures as soon as I get some decorating done. That's the funnest part- but also the most stressful for me. I have so many things I want to do, but I'm not the best interior decorator in the world, so its kind of overwhelming. I've bought a lot of things that I really love, but once I get them home I don't know how to arrange them. Does anyone else have that problem? I'm just no good at this kind of stuff.
