The day after Stephanie's wedding we all went to Bear World, which is in Rexburg, ID. I was really impressed with it! First you drive through the park and see all the bears, elk, deer, etc. Then at the end there is a petting zoo and a mini amusement park, which the kids loved. It was our last day together and we all had fun.

4th of July in Huntsville, UT
My entire family was together for the 4th of July because it was the day before Stephanie's wedding. We had a fun day! We've come to the Huntsville 4th of July celebration for many years because my mom is from Huntsville and my Dad is from Ogden. They have a 5k run in the morning, and then a parade, booths with games and activities, food and treats, live music, etc.
My four siblings and their husbands all ran the 5k. I guess I'm the black sheep. More like the fat sheep. ha ha. I am out of the running loop right now, but I really want to get back into it. I need a running buddy. Any takers?
Getting ready to collect candy from the parade
Halle and the Incredible Shrinking Emily! :) You look great, Em.
Ryan (Emily's husband), Nate (Melanie's husband) and my sister, Melanie
Paige with Rowan and Maclaren (Emily's boys)
Candy please!

My Dad and Halle
Melanie had a baby like 5 seconds ago. You'd never know it.
My brother, Trevor and my sister, Stephanie
Kate was amazed by the dancing little girls
Tripp (Melanie's son), Kate, and Paige
After all that we had a family luncheon at my aunt and uncle's house in Huntsville. It was a great day.
Losin' some teeth
You may have noticed that both Paige and Kate lost their first tooth recently. You may also have noticed that Kate is only 3. Most kids don't lose their first tooth until they are 5 or 6. Well, Kate is really advanced.
Just kidding. About 6 weeks ago, we were staying in a hotel and she was trying to climb on the windowsill to look out at a little rabbit. Of course she fell and landed on the edge of the pack 'n play. Her mouth was bleeding a little bit, but it didn't look too bad. And then I realized that one of her bottom teeth was super wiggly. We took her to the dentist and she said that her gums would tighten around the tooth and that it would be fine.
Nope. It got looser and looser until it was just hanging by a thread, so Kate pulled it right out. So now she will be toothless for 2 or 3 years... or more. Nice. It's very fitting. Kate is always getting hurt.
Paige was so jealous when Kate lost her tooth. She had one wiggly tooth (the same tooth as Kate actually) and she was dying to get a visit from the tooth fairy. About 2 weeks after Kate pulled her tooth out, Paige lost her first tooth also. She pulled it out herself when we were driving back from my sister's wedding in Idaho.
Exciting times around here!

Happy Birthday, Paige!
Paige turned 6 on Wednesday, July 17th. She counted down the days until her birthday for quite a while. I hope it lived up to her expectations.
She got lots of fun crafty gifts in the mail from Grandma. She has been making
lots of books, headbands, necklaces, etc. She loves everything arts and crafts related.
Nate brought her some flowers and she felt really special. It was pretty cute.
We had a little party with some friends from the neighborhood and friends from church too. I made some cupcakes that were supposed to look like snow cones. Not quite like the pinterest picture, I must say. We also had dirt and worm sundaes.
Halle was checking out little Jensyn.
Nate picked out some Littlest Pet Shop toys and Paige loved them. It was a big deal to her that Nate bought her something himself. Usually I do the shopping, but she made it clear that she wanted a gift from her dad.
She is now obsessed with hula hooping. She does it all day long. She's really good at it!
I'll do better next time. :) I kind of threw them together in a rush.
