Paige Lately

We got some lettuce wraps from PF Changs and Paige loved them. I was surprised. She actually loves plain lettuce.

These are from her 2.5 year check-up last week.

A few new things:
Paige is potty trained now! Woohoo! She caught on really fast and she even wakes up in the night sometimes to have me help her go potty. She has had very few accidents, so its been pretty smooth. But today we actually had a very messy poop incident and when I was cleaning her up she said, "Mommy, I'm so sorry." I felt so bad. She is such a sweet girl.
We say prayers with her every night and we usually give her some prompting of things to say. But last night was her first prayer all by herself. Here is what she said:
Heavenly Father, thank you for my family. Thank you for mommy and daddy. Thank you for the baby in mommy's belly. Thank you for my hippo. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
Paige has been talking about the new baby a lot lately. I think she really understands what's happening. I can't wait to see her with her little sister. I think she will love helping out. She always talks about when the baby is going to come out and she says things like, "Will baby take a bath with me?" "Will baby watch Dora with me?" "Does baby like cereal?"
P.S. I can't wait for this baby to come!! 6 more weeks.

32 weeks

Not much is going on with us, so pregnancy updates are about all I've got. Can you tell I've grown over the past couple weeks?

I would also like to mention that I am very close to FINALLY graduating with my bachelors degree. Woohoo! I left BYU-Hawaii in April 2007 with about 20 credits left, and it has taken me almost THREE YEARS to get those credits done. I thought it would take me no longer than 6 months. I didn't expect how drastically my priorities would change when I had Paige. Its hard to stay motivated as a student when you are also a mom. I'm sure many of you know about that. Anyway, I should officially graduate in mid-April. Hallelujah! I already feel like a huge weight has been lifted and I'm just so excited to be almost done.

Belly Pic

Here I am (this morning) at 30 weeks. Woohoo!! I'm starting to feel the nesting urge, so this week I plan on setting up the baby's room and getting all of Paige's old baby clothes out of the boxes. I hope the next 10 weeks fly by.

Christmas in Texas

We had a great week in Texas! Although, it started out crappily because there was a snow storm there on Christmas Eve, which delayed our connecting flight in SLC for 6 hours. We ended up getting to Texas at about 2 AM. We were expecting a warm Christmas, but the weather in Texas is very unpredictable. Its always nice having snow at Christmas-time though. I'm just glad we got to spend the holidays with my family because it doesn't happen very often.

Here is our week, in pictures. It is not in chronological order, unfortunately.

The Fort Worth Zoo:

Paige really loved the zoo. And I was really impressed with it too.

Bathtime in the jacuzzi:

Medieval Times:

This was our family's second time going to Medieval Times. I really liked it and the kids did too. The food is quite good and its just a fun environment.

The knight threw a flower to Paige and she was pretty excited.

Me and my younger sister, Stephanie.

The grandkids:

Maclaren and Rowan

Tripp, Maclaren, Rowan, and Paige

Cooking:

Nate got to de-shell the crab legs. I guess that's not his favorite job?

Christmas Day:

Traveling:

Luckily, Paige slept on one of the flights to Texas, and on one of the flights back home as well. That was a nice treat.
