Christmas in Texas

We had a great week in Texas! Although, it started out crappily because there was a snow storm there on Christmas Eve, which delayed our connecting flight in SLC for 6 hours. We ended up getting to Texas at about 2 AM. We were expecting a warm Christmas, but the weather in Texas is very unpredictable. Its always nice having snow at Christmas-time though. I'm just glad we got to spend the holidays with my family because it doesn't happen very often.

Here is our week, in pictures. It is not in chronological order, unfortunately.

The Fort Worth Zoo:

Paige really loved the zoo. And I was really impressed with it too.

Bathtime in the jacuzzi:

Medieval Times:

This was our family's second time going to Medieval Times. I really liked it and the kids did too. The food is quite good and its just a fun environment.

The knight threw a flower to Paige and she was pretty excited.

Me and my younger sister, Stephanie.

The grandkids:

Maclaren and Rowan

Tripp, Maclaren, Rowan, and Paige

Cooking:

Nate got to de-shell the crab legs. I guess that's not his favorite job?

Family photo:

Christmas Day:

Tripp, 6 months old

Traveling:

Luckily, Paige slept on one of the flights to Texas, and on one of the flights back home as well. That was a nice treat.

I was anticipating this post. I was so excited that you were able to spend Christmas with your family. You and your sister Stephanie look like twins! And in one picture especially Paige looks just like Nate. What a cute family. I'm glad Paige slept for you on a few flights!

You look so cute pregnant too.

We love the Fort Worth Zoo. We should probably go again before our season pass expires at the end of the month.

Sorry the snow caused travel headaches for you. My girls loved it, though. (We're just a little west of Fort Worth.)

My wife and I also met at BYU-Hawaii (a few years earlier than you). She's from Othello - also in Eastern Washington. So we have a few things in common.

Have a Happy New Year.
