Yikes

So, yesterday I was sitting in the living room and Paige was playing in the office. I needed to change her diaper, so I kept calling, "Paige, come here." After a minute or so, she came out of the office with a mad face and said,

"Mom, stop talking to me!!"

I was so shocked and horrified!! (But it was kind of hilarious). Where did that come from? I'm sure this is only the beginning.

Nightmares?

Last night I woke up to Paige yelling, "Mama!" in a shaky voice that I've never heard from her. She sounded really frantic. I ran to her room and she was sitting up in her crib saying, "scawee" (scary) in the saddest little voice. She really seemed scared, and I felt so bad. So I was thinking, was it a nightmare? What kind of nightmares could a 2 year old have?

Pregnancy update

I had my 12 week appointment today. Everything is going well so far. As soon as the nurse put the doppler on my belly, we could hear the baby's fast little heartbeat. That's the best sound in the world. I am so excited to start feeling him/her moving around. I first started to feel Paige at 17 weeks and they say you feel it earlier with your second, so hopefully it will happen soon-ish.

I am starting to feel a little bit better. I only throw up once or twice a day now, so that's... good. Yah. No, it still sucks, but its an improvement. So I really think any day now I will be feeling normal.

A day in Gig Harbor, Wa

When I tell Paige to smile, she squints her eyes and scrunches up her face. She hasn't quite figured that one out yet.
