Quote by Paige

During the sacrament today I got the little cup of water for Kate, but for some reason she wouldn't drink it, so I gave it to Paige. She was excited that she got two, and she said:
"Now I'm going to remember Jesus A LOT!"

Lately

Last Sunday I decided to make a chocolate cake, and Paige wanted to pretend like it was her birthday. So that's what we did.
Can you tell Paige is camera-shy?
By the way, I wouldn't recommend making a large cake for a small family. I ate like 75 % of that cake throughout the week. Too much cake for one person!! Geez!
It was a good chocolate cake though. Here is the recipe if you're interested:
I did not use that frosting recipe though, so I can't say if it's good or not. But I really liked the cake!

24 weeks (6 months pregnant)

I'm 6 months pregnant now. Exciting! I can't wait to have this baby. 16 more weeks. Wow, that's a long time. I'm feeling pretty good. I'm really tired all the time, but I think that's pretty standard for pregnancy. I've been walking 3 miles 4 days a week with my friend, Jenny, and it feels good to be outside and getting active again.
Things are going well with this pregnancy and I'm very thankful for that.

Quotes by Kate

Kate is really into baby dolls right now. She is the cutest little "mommy" to them. A couple days ago Paige was calling for Kate to come downstairs and play with her.
Kate yelled: "I change a diaper baby. Just a minute!" She sat there pretending to change her baby's diaper for quite a while.

Today I was putting Kate in her carseat and she was holding her baby doll. It was in the way of buckling the straps, so I picked it up and was holding it with my teeth for a minute. That sounds weird... I was out of hands, ya know?
Anyway, Kate said: "You bite baby! You being meeeem!" (mean) She was so disturbed that I was hurting her baby.

Thanksgiving in Las Vegas

Better late than never, right? I stole these pictures from my sister Melanie. Thanks, Mel!

This is Emily's backyard. It was so perfect for kids! My dad gave wheelbarrow rides to the grandkids. Who wouldn't love that?

The kids got their faces painted at a cool outdoor mall. Paige was so serious about holding still. She didn't move at all the whole time. It was cute.
