This is Halloween

On friday night we went to a Halloween party at the library.

Paige got her first tattoo!!

(I was dressed as a fat, pregnant lady.)

And then we made some spiders...

On Halloween night we went Trick-or-Treating at the mall. I didn't know what to expect, but it was actually quite fun! There were tons of people, so it was a little crazy, but it was fun to see all the costumes. Paige loved it. She was so happy to fill up her little candy bag. We let her eat a few treats, but little does she know.... I'm eating the rest right now. Bwaaa ha haaaaa!!! Just kidding. Kind of.

These are her cousins: a little cowboy on the right, and "Larry Fitzgerald" on the left.

Here she is saying, "Trick-or Treat!" She was such a cute little ladybug.

After the mall, we went around to some homes in our neighborhood. It was a really fun night. Holidays are so much fun when you have a toddler.

Shhh... its a secret.

So, Nate and I have already chosen the name for our little girl, but I have a dilemma. Maybe you can share your opinion on the subject. Do you think its better to tell people the name you've chosen for your baby as soon as you know, or keep it a secret until he/she is born?

A few people have asked us if we have a name picked out, or what names we are considering and I don't know what to say because...

1. I don't want people to share any negative opinions on the name we have chosen. That would make me mad.

2. I kind of like the idea of the name being announced when she is born.

So what do you think?

The results are in...

ITS A GIRL!!!

Yaaaayyyyy!!! Nate really didn't care if it was a boy or girl, but I wanted another girl, so I'm thrilled (although I would have loved having a boy too obviously). For the majority of the ultrasound the baby was curled up and we couldn't see between her legs at all. I was panicking because I wanted to know SO badly. So the ultrasound tech had me turn on my side and she finally moved. Phew. It was so fun to see her swallowing, yawning, and kicking around.

Earlier today I asked Paige if she thought we were having a boy or girl and she said "a girl baby!" She probably didn't really understand the question anyway, but I think she will love having a little sister.

I scanned these pictures and they came out really crappy, but here they are anyway:

Girl or Boy?

I can't wait to find out the gender of our baby. Tomorrow I have my 16 week appointment and at that point I will be able to set up my ultrasound appointment. I really hope they have openings next week. I am so anxious to find out. I really feel like its a boy, but who knows...

I just found this fun website called babybpm.com and you can enter your baby's heartrate and gestational age and it will guess the gender based on average bpms for male and female babies. So I did it and the result was...

GIRL!! I would love another girl, to be honest. But we would obviously be thrilled with a boy also. Hopefully we will have our answer in the next week or two!!

UPDATE: My ultrasound is going to be on monday! (the 12th)
