If you've been reading my blog since the beginning, you'll remember that I've always had major issues with getting Paige to sleep in her crib, and sleep through the night. I made the huge mistake of letting her nurse in bed, which led to her sleeping in our bed all the time. It was extremely difficult to break that habit, but we have FINALLY done it!
Six weeks ago, (when we moved into the house) I made up my mind to teach her to sleep in her crib, without needing me to put her to sleep. It has truly been a hell-ish experience, but now it has really paid off. She sleeps through the night (most of the time) and falls asleep on her own. She doesnt fight it when I put her in her crib. It really feels like a miracle. I feel so much better about motherhood now that I have that under control. It was the one thing that really overwhelmed me. Everything else has been relatively smooth. (Not that I'm some kind of motherhood expert.) So, come on down baby #2! I'll do better this time around, I promise!
