Dang it.
So, Nate and I really don't do much on a day-to-day basis. We are pretty boring. So we were so excited to go on this cruise next month and get outta here. The cruise tickets were a pretty good deal and the flight was not bad at all. But things kept coming up to thwart our plans. (ie. passport problems, additional costs, etc.) The kicker was when we found out that we would have to pay for Paige as well. I was sure that infants were free, just like plane tickets. I don't know why I thought that, but when you think about it- she is not going to be eating any of their food or anything like that. Anyway, I think its ridiculous. So we kept putting off buying the cruise tickets because one thing after another seemed messed up. Finally, today I went to buy them and... surprise! They had gone up drastically! I knew it was gonna happen. We had waited so long. So that was the last straw. I wonder if the ship is gonna sink or something because I swear someone did not want us going on this cruise. Anyway, we're probably not going now and its back to doing nothing at all. Can anyone think of a hobby for us? What do people do with their lives? I feel so pathetic. I think it was easy to have fun in Hawaii and we never realized how lame we are in the real world.

oh man that REALLY stinks that you guys aren't going to be able to go on that cruise :( you definitely should keep looking for good deals b/c you're bound to find one b/c there are so many cruises.
if you guys go on a cruise and end up liking it, then we should all go on a cruise in a year or something and it would be tons of fun for us and the girls!
as for hobbies....it was WAY easier in hawaii, i agree. so now that breanna is getting older i'm getting out a whole lot more, we're going to this "book babies" at the library once a week, i go to exercise group at the church 2 times a week, we had breanna in
"swim lessons" for the past month and we go to a baby playgroup. that's what i do during the day besides stuff around the house.
rob and i go on "adventures" whenever he has a day off. we like to go visit towns that we haven't seen yet, it usually includes a lot of driving and then walking around. we have also checked out museums on their free days. we have started to do "game nights" with some people from the ward (it's a different crowd then hawaii, but still fun). we could start an online book club. rob and i rent movies.
rob says you can join an online multiplayer game, like bf2 that will consume hours at a time and you won't even know it. (AAAAAAAHHHHHH).
ok, so i wrote a ton for a comment, kinda awkward :)
oh, one last thing, you guys can come visit us if you're bored :)
k, i'm done :)
Sorry to hear that Ash! I know what it's like to not be able to go somewhere you want to go because something or some people won't let you. I regret not going to Rexburg for V-day. But at least I saved $400 by not going.
Bummer ... but at the same time, I can't believe they would charge for an infant. Seriously now.
And having an entertaining life gets easier as the babe gets older. Now that Addi is a toddler we have to be interesting because she has to be entertained. We do stuff literally everyday - museums, playgrounds, walks, yada yada yada, just to keep her happy before bedtime.
We watch LOST.
I think that officially makes us MORE pathetic.
At least you guys have passports.
I feel the same way about hobbies! Me and Brandon are always trying to fing fun stuff to do together..it was just way easier in Hawaii! Something that we started doing together was shooting...very random but it was actually really fun! That has kind of come to an end though because of Scarlett. She wouldn't enjoy the noise i think. I wish you guys lived close! We could have fun together!
