Zofran or Phenergan for morning sickness? My doctor prescribed them for me yesterday and I was just wondering if anyone else has used them. Thanks!
UPDATE:
I took my first Zofran a couple hours ago, and I think its working! I feel almost normal! Yay!!

I am a HUGE advocate for Zofran! I used it with this last pregnancy and I WISH I would have had it for the other two. it literally saved me when i took it. it takes about ten minutes to start working but then I would be okay for a few hours--up to the rest of the day. and I could take it at night and it didn't effect my sleep. and it didn't make me tired or dizzy like some others i had tried- good luck! if anything your dr. should have trial sizes of both- and they do have a generic now for zofran so it's not as expensive.
I'm so relieved you are able to take something that works for you. Wooh!
I had to take some Zofran when I was pregnant with Texton because I had the flu at about 6 mo and couldn't keep any fluid down all day. It worked for a little bit. I also had Zofran every 30 minutes the morning of my C-section. You aren't supposed to take it that often, but they had to keep giving it to me cause it would wear off quickly. It was prescribed to be when I was pregnant with Eden and super sick, but it cost $300 to have the prescription filled and we didn't have insurance ;-( I think it's a little cheaper now someone told me. Glad it seems to be working for you. Being sick is NOOOO O fun!
