Christmas!!

A couple days ago, Paige took off all her clothes and diaper, dumped her toys out of this basket, and said she was going swimming in the hot tub.

She helped me decorate the tree too. Sometimes she wears clothes- I swear.

Paige was taking a bath and soap started dripping down her face, so she started licking around her lips. I said, "Paige don't lick it. Soap is yucky." And she said, "No, its delicious!!"

Yesterday I bought Christmas stockings and I was explaining that Santa puts treats and toys in them on Christmas Eve. Paige was so excited and ran over to our Christmas tree where we have an ornament of Santa's face and she looked at him and said, "Pleeeease! Treats!!"

Today I asked Paige what she wanted to eat and she said, "mash-a-tatoes!" So I made some and brought them to her and she said, "You made mash-a-tatoes for meeee? Oh, that's great!"

Today Nate said, "Paige, you're beautiful!" She said, "No, I not beautiful. I batman!"

Nate's dilemma

I have to share this dialogue from last night. Nate and I were laying in bed and I was almost asleep, when he said:

"I'm having a big dilemma lately. I can't decide if I should keep studying for the GMAT and get my MBA, or if I should get a Playstation and just do that with my spare time."

I started laughing... until I realized he was 100% serious.

Funny little Paige

The other day, Paige and I were sharing an ice cream cone. She actually wasn't sharing at all, so I told her she needed to give it back so that I could have some. She said, "Mom, be patient!"

She watches Dora the Explorer, and if you've seen it, you know there is a fox named Swiper, who steals Dora's stuff or throws it in the bushes, etc. A few days ago, Paige grabbed a handful of band-aids and threw them in the air and said, in a mischievous voice, "You'll never find them now!" That's exactly what Swiper says.

Today Nate couldn't find this little electronic device that he uses for work. Its about the size of a piece of gum, but its thicker. A couple hours after it went missing, he was holding Paige and felt something hard on her bum. He looked down her diaper and there it was! So he pulled it out (her diaper was clean) and she said, "Hey, that's mine!" I guess she was saving it for later.

My New Kitchen

I really like how it turned out! At first I was pretty shocked because its a big change, but I think it adds a lot, so I'm excited. It was a lot of work though. After I started painting, I thought, why am I doing this when I'm 6 months pregnant? Oh well, I'm glad I did it.

The color is called Rosemary Sprig from Benjamin Moore. But I had it mixed at Home Depot, using Glidden paint because its a lot cheaper than Benjamin Moore.

So it looks like my belly is growing a little faster this time around. But its fun to finally look pregnant, and not just chubby.

In other news... I will post pics of my kitchen tomorrow. I'm not quite done painting.

Painting!

I'm finally painting my kitchen... GREEN. Yikes. I love green, but I never thought I would have the guts to paint my whole kitchen a non-neutral color. I'm starting tomorrow, so wish me luck. I will post pics as soon as I'm done.
