Excuses, excuses

I feel bad that I haven't been updating lately. I am still really sick and just haven't felt like doing much, other than laying around and wallowing in self-pity. But just a couple weeks more, and I should be feeling better. I am really looking forward to that. And I can't wait to feel the baby and actually feel pregnant, instead of just sick.

I'm still working on Paige's room. I have so many ideas, but unfortunately, they all cost money. So its taking some time.

That's pretty much it for now. But I will also be updating my fitness blog, for those who follow it. Check it out!

Home Improvements

We also extended our patio quite a bit. Nate, his brother, and brother-in-law did it pretty much on their own, so that was pretty impressive.

We are planning on staining the whole thing so that the old concrete matches the new concrete. I'm excited to have more room out there.
Next up: Paige's room!! I've been working on it for a while, and I'm almost done. We are going to Seattle this weekend and I'm going to hit IKEA for some last minute things. Stay tuned for pictures!

Thank you, Zofran!

I can't believe how well it has worked for me! I was sceptical because I've heard that it doesn't work for everyone, but I'm so glad that it has made such a difference for me. I really hate taking any medications when I'm pregnant, but this is so worth it.

I guess Zofran is super expensive, but one of the perks of Nate's job in pharmaceuticals is that we don't have to pay for any prescription drugs. But when I went to get the prescription filled, they gave me the generic form of it anyway, so its actually called Ondansetron, and its much cheaper than Zofran.

In conclusion, if you suffer from bad nausea and vomiting during pregnancy, I would definitely recommend giving this a try!!

Any experiences with...

Zofran or Phenergan for morning sickness? My doctor prescribed them for me yesterday and I was just wondering if anyone else has used them. Thanks!

UPDATE:

I took my first Zofran a couple hours ago, and I think its working! I feel almost normal! Yay!!

A conversation with Paige

Nate: Paige, what would you like to eat?
Paige: Lunch!
Nate: Ok, what would you like to eat for lunch?
Paige: Dinner!
