Paige and I flew to Utah on Monday to spend some time with my family. My little brother, Trevor, entered the MTC on Wednesday so we wanted to be there to support him. He will be serving in Mexico City, Mexico. I am so happy for him. He is so excited to be serving a mission and it was so touching to see him off at the MTC. The spirit was so strong there and I was so amazed to see all the young men who were so willing and excited to serve the Lord for 2 years. It was a great experience. It was hard to say goodbye to him because I still think of him as a little boy and I just can't imagine him going out in the world on his own. He's such a good kid and I'm going to miss him. But I'm also so happy for him and I'm glad that he decided to serve a mission.

That's awesome Ash. Jonathon's little brother just got home a few weeks ago, and my sister gets home in about 6 more weeks. The time goes by so quickly. Paige is getting so big! I'm glad you were able to go to his farewell at the MTC, I wish I could have made it to my sisters.
Hey, my cousin Tanner McAffee entered the MTC Wednesday and he is serving in Mexico too. I almost bet they will know each other. Crazy! The MTC leaves you with a roller coaster of emotions, doesn't it? Good luck to your brother.
I bet that was hard to do. I would be really sad too, but I know that the Lord needs him and what an awesome blessing and experience to have with him for the rest of his life!
How long are you going to stay in Utah, we should meet!
