New stuff around the house

We recently ordered this Del Parson painting and I love it! I've been wanting some LDS art in our home for years and I'm so glad we finally got this.

 

EDIT:   I forgot to mention something adorable Kate said. When we got the painting she said,

"Is that my Jesus?" 

 

 And then when we put the stockings up she said, "Do we have a stocking for my Jesus?" 

She's such a sweetheart.

 

 

We also got our first real tree this year because we sold our artificial one when we moved. It was so bulky. It filled 2 huge boxes. It's been fun trying somthing new this year. The only real drawback I can find to getting a real tree is the fact that you have to pay for it each year and then you toss it out after a few weeks. I think the best solution is to go out in the woods and find one. Much cheaper.
