This recipe must be shared

I've always liked Snickerdoodles, but I wouldn't say they've ever been my absolute favorite. I have made them many times and I've tried many different recipes, but I could never find a recipe that was just perfect. Until now.

A girl in my ward is known for making amazing Snickerdoodles. I have heard it from a few different people. I had never tried them before, but since I love finding great recipes I asked her if she could e-mail me the recipe. Well, I made them a few days ago and WOW. They are so, so good. They are super soft and just taste better than others I've tried. Nate has never been a fan of Snickerdoodles at all, but he LOVED these. You should try them.

Soft Snickerdoodles

1 cup butter, softened

1 1/2 cup sugar

2 eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla

1/2 tsp. salt

1 teaspoon baking soda

2 3/4 cup flour

Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs and vanilla and mix well. Then add the rest of the ingredients, which have been sifted together. Roll into balls and then roll in sugar and cinnamon ( mix 2 TB sugar and 2 tsp cinnamon). Bake at 375 degrees for about 8-10 minutes. Be careful not to overcook them, softer is better.

What? You don't take pictures of yourself eating cookies?

Yes, that's a Christmas decoration in my window.
