Coldplay- July 11th

Google images of "The Gorge"

We went to see Coldplay last weekend at "The Gorge Amphitheater" in George, Washington (funny huh?). Its a really awesome concert theater about halfway between Spokane and Seattle, completely in the middle of nowhere. Its known for hippies and weed, but luckily we had a weed-free experience. It was our second time seeing Coldplay and it was great. They are my favorite band by far. Chris Martin has so much energy and he makes it all really fun.

After a while, the band decided come up in the crowd and play a few songs. We were lucky because they ended up playing right in front of us.

We were packed in there like sardines. I guess that's what happens when you get general admission tickets.

I forgot what a beautiful area that is. What a fun place for a concert! And very cool that the band came so close to you. Remember when Tim McGraw did that at the concert you and I went to?
