I hate that. Has happened to me many times.
Addi hated those peas - I would try to trick her and put a dab of carrots on top of the spoonful of peas, but they always ended up on her chin, shirt, the floor ... anywhere but her mouth. Then I tasted them; I've never fed them to her since.
