Listening to Paige cry is one of the worst things I've experienced. Its not getting a whole lot better. Does anyone have any suggestions? I don't know how much more I can take!
My sister did something called Ferberizing, or something like that. Where the first night you go in every 5 minutes, comfort them, pat them on the back, try to calm them down without picking them up. Then the next night it's every 10 minutes, then 15, then 20, and it worked for her. It's called the Ferber Method, you can google it. I didn't really describe it well, but it's worth looking into. Good Luck!!!
The rule that worked for us was: never pick her up. You can sit next to her and put your hand on her tummy, (or do the method above which I've heard works for some people) but don't pick her up.
I remember bawling while listening to Grace cry. But I realized I was really not doing her a favor if I picked her up because she would think that if she cried long enough I would rescue her. If you pick her up once it just prolongs the problem.

Good luck. It stinks. I'm thinking about you.
